Would like also to know about quality restaurants in the downtown area, aside from the hotels.

Many of Cleveland's finest restaurants are located right downtown. You shouldn't have a problem finding them, no matter where you are staying. There are two main downtown dining/entertainment districts that become huge evening hotspots.

The Warehouse District (W.6th, St. Clair, W.9th) is located just west of Public Square. It is kind of a flashy singles scene that is boderline tacky (in some establishments there), but there are some very fine upscale restaurants.

- Johnny's Downtown on W.6th is probably one of Cleveland's finest restaurants, and its where celebrities are usually spotted when they're in town.
- Sushi Rock is another mainstay in the district and very cool.
- XO is a great swanky steakhouse.
- Mercury Lounge is really chic lounge for drinks.
- D'Vine is a great wine bar.
- Johnny's Little Bar tucked off the main drag is one of the best "Cleveland" bars in the Warehouse District - and they're dinner and late-night menu's are my favorite.

E.4th Street is just East of Public Square, and there are a lot of different things to do. The House of Blues, Pickwick and Frolic (comedy venue and restaurant), Corner Alley (upscale bowling alley and restaurant), and Flannery's Irish Pub are all very popular. AND Lola's on E. 4th is Michael Symon's restaurant. Michael Symon is that celebrity chef from Cleveland who just became America's Iron Chef! Definately worth checking out if you're into food.

There's also some great neighborhoods just outside of downtown for dining and things to do. If you have any extra time in Cleveland, I'd suggest asking your hotel concierge or researching on the internet places like Ohio City, Tremont, and Little Italy.

Have fun. Hope you enjoy Cleveland.

Hang out in the warehouse district after dark. Go to a Browns or Cavs game. Check out the Science Center and the Rock Hall.
The Hard Rock Cafe is right downtown, also The House of Blues. Vivo is upscale but they have pretty good food. You could eat at the Terrace Club in Jacobs Field, they are open year round.

Cleveland Orenthal Brown is a character from the animated television series Family Guy, and its spin-off series The Cleveland Show.[1][2] He is voiced by Mike Henry. In the first seven seasons of Family Guy, Cleveland is a frequently recurring character. As one of Peter Griffin's neighbors and friends, Cleveland is also one of the few recurring African American characters on the show. He was conceived during the seventh-inning stretch of a Cleveland Indians game.[3] His established profession was that of a deli owner. In the earliest seasons of Family Guy, Cleveland frequently appeared alongside his wife Loretta Brown (voiced by Alex Borstein), until their divorce was portrayed in the Family Guy season 4 episode "The Cleveland–Loretta Quagmire". The pilot episode of The Cleveland Show depicts Cleveland's farewell to the familiar characters and settings of Family Guy. The Cleveland Show establishes its setting of Stoolbend, Virginia as Cleveland's childhood home town, and introduces a new family and set of characters supporting Cleveland as lead.
