Yes i did see what i consider a ufo, It was triangle in shape, all black as coal and no lights and just sitting in the sky hovering, then it just disappeared,, Hard to explain but I know what i saw and it was very very real, Not all ufos are saucer shapes, They are many different shapes, from cigar to triangle to saucer and some are very strange looking,, But I know what I saw and there is no explanation of it, It was very real and very there,,

I saw one in Ohio back in the 60's. It was so close, the street lights reflected off of one side, and it appeared to be metallic-grey. It was shaped like the blimp, and at first I thought it was the Goodyear blimp, then realized it was completely silent. (If you've ever seen the blimp, you can hear it coming from about a mile away). It passed over an open field across the street, and was moving very slowly.
It had white lights around it, which were square, like windows, and the lights were lightly pulsating and there was a large red dome-shaped steady light on one end on top of it.
It had passed right over (or in front of) the blimp hanger/municipal airport, (I could see the blimp hangar from my porch) It was too large for anyone there to miss, but I called the airport and the employees denied seeing it at all. They must have been napping. My husband had been to a meeting 7 miles away, and saw it when he started home and watched it all the while he was driving home, so you can imagine how large it was. I reported it to the local UFO club. They investigated, but the blimp was on the west coast then, and no other aircraft had been flying in the area at that time.
There were several other people who saw it that night as it "floated" over the area. I watched it until it went out of sight. That's the first and only one I have seen.
By the way, I didn't mind telling people, because I know what I saw, and I know I'm not crazy. I'm not skeptical any more.

Yes, i have, but i don't think they were alien spacecraft or anything like that.
On two occasions, i saw a discus-shaped metallic object in a clear blue sky. On a third occasion, i saw an extremely large brown streamlined object fly over me which was obscured by cumulus clouds during some of its motion. If it was a solid object at the distance i saw it at, it would have been about 3 miles long. I think there is an explanation for these sightings which has nothing to do with either spacecraft, unknown flying organisms or time machines. I don't know what it is though. There must in particular be a sensible explanation for the large object because it is large enough to be seen by many other observers and be considered a hazard to planes, so presumably it was something military.
For the record, i do believe alien spacecraft visit this planet, but i don't believe they have anything to do with UFOs, which are something else, probably like mirages. The real alien spacecraft would be invisible to any current human method of detecting them.

I once saw something in the night sky that defied any explanation. I was driving through a very small town at least two hours away from the nearest airport. I saw an object very high in the sky--at first I thought it was a shooting star because it moved so fast, but then suddenly it changed directions and went all over the place zigging and zagging back and forth and then totally disappeared. It was too high and too fast to be a helicopter or some sort of toy or light shining up from the ground. It happened so fast and was over as soon as it really even registered in my mind what I was seeing, but there is no doubt in my mind about what I saw or that it was unlike the behavior of any aircraft I've ever seen before or since.
This was near the town of Diboll Texas in the early 90's, but I didn't record the actual date & time--frankly I have been reluctant to tell people I know because I think they would think I was crazy or weird, but I know what I saw.

Yes I have. Not a flying saucer. It looked like a blinking star that stayed in one place for 10 or 20 minutes and then just faded away. I was with a group of amateur astronomers and we had lots of telescopes and looked at it in a telescope. It looked the same in the telescope, just a small star that flashed bright once every few seconds. In the telescope it was dimly visible between flashes and after a few minutes it just stopped flashing and got dimmer and dimmer until it could not be seen. The motor drive of the telescope was tracking the stars and this UFO stayed in the field of view, so it was fixed with respect to the distant stars in space and not with respect to the Earth or the ground. We never figured out what it was. I satellite in a VERY high orbit (above geostationary altitude) rotating so that some shiny part reflecting sunlight would glint at us once every few seconds until the angle of the Sun changed after a few minutes. Such a satellite would still drift slowly against the stars, but if the orbit was high enough it could drift slowly enough so we might not have noticed it during the few minutes we had the telescope pointed at it. The military does have such satellites for detecting nuclear explosions on Earth, but I can't say for sure that is what we saw. It seems likely though.

How do we know they don't have a way to travel that is beyond anything we now know about?
They used to believe that humans could only travel so fast and any faster and they would die. Yet, cars have far exceeded that speed and yet no one died.
It speaks of Satan in Job going back and forth to earth?
and of other angels coming here. Yet, we didn't see them..
That doesn't mean they are not here.
A few hundred years ago people on earth would have said, "you cannot build a huge metal machine that carries over 300 people threw the sky across the country."
When asked how would farmers harvest the hay in the future.
and someone said, "they will dig metal out of the earth and make a tractor with it and then that black stuff that burns, that will fuel it." There is a lot of things we don't know?

I was driving home from work one night, when I noticed a bright light in the sky, looked like a normal star, until it started to move towards me.Next it was travelling parallel to me on the nearside of my car.I felt that many eyes where observing me and felt quite uncomfortable and wished it would go away. After a couple of miles it shot off at tremendous speed back to it,s original position in the sky.I can,t explain this and I,m not a believer in UFOs but this did happen.

Never in 50 years of observing the sky. I've seen a few strange things, but they all had explanations. Most UFOs are reported by people unfamiliar with the normal appearance of the sky.

I'm sceptical to say yes - but i have seen something with my father in law, his child and my partners little bro.
that's 4 of us, all seeing the same thing.
watching out for satellites to keep the kids amused its about 11pm ish, and granted like clockwork our satellite passed. moving at a steady pace, one direction simple as.
not long after - at the same height of the satellite (of course i have no way of being certain on distance) but the same size and brightness.
that's where all similarities end - the only way to describe this is as if it was in the formation of a small flock of birds, about 6 objects in total not moving at first - but then moving about 5-10 times faster than the satellite was in the opposite direction. No irratic movement, no stopping and starting- just phenominal speed.
we could clearly see individual star light lights just flickering, then once they began to move - within seconds they were gone.
I've checked all satellite info sites, (times for when they will be going over your area) and nothing referred to this.
no-one believes what we all say happened, I'd stopped asking if anyone else had seen it - until now i suppose - just saw the header and thought i'd put this on-line.

I have never seen one but I'd love to, I've seen a lot of shooting stars and many times I've looked into the dark sky of the night to see if I catch a glimpse of anything but never been lucky to watch one, are there any good spots I should know of here in southern California?
