First, a little background. I drive a small front wheel car, a Ford Focus. I scraped my wheel against the curb the other day. I scraped up the wheel's lip a little bit, but everything seemed okay. I don't know that if that has anything to do with the problem I'm having now. When I make a sharp turn, I hear a sound like a metallic clink and clunk. It quickly goes away until I make another turn. Then it clinks and clunks again. I don't know if it has something to do with my wheel, my steering, or my suspension. What do you think? Thank you in advance.

Sounds like the CV Joints. It could be the wheel bearings, too but I'm more inclined to believe that its just the CV joints. Take some advice, change the complete shaft, that runs about $70 per side without labor, without labor you're looking at about $350

One of your CV (constant velocity) joint is worn out. This is usually caused by a split in the rubber dust boot, which lets dirt into the joint when driving. It will generally make a clunking noise when turning tight corners, but will be silent in a straight line. The good news is that it isn't all that hard to fix.

Good luck!

Sounds like CV (constant velocity) joints. It's the knuckle in the drive shaft to the front wheels.

Replace Central Velocity Joint. To avoid similar problem in the future, regularly check the CV Joint rubber boot for any crack. This crack causes dirt to enter the joint that can damage the system.

You hurt your cv joint. Check Ebay for a cheap new/used one. They are fairly easy to replace.
