How do I clean well pipe on artesian well?

the main pipe to the well feeds into the holding tank. The flow is really slow, old timers have said they shoot a .22 bullett down the pipe.

its the foot valve what they did was open the strainer up.go to hardware store and ask about foot valves.

Yeah I've heard of that too. We had this problem at our last home and had to pull the pipe and clean the screen at the end of it. Wasn't as bad a job as we thought it would be.

ya called shock wave, probley lime build up in pipes.
