We need to yawn because we need more oxygen. If we don't have enough oxygen, then there will be a yawn. I don't know why we need to yawn to go to bed. I don't know why, but yawn means we need more oxygen and it's catchy. Anyway, I am going to bed now. I yawn 2-4 times

I read somewhere we yawn because there was a lack of oxygen in our bodies. Don't know how accurate that info is. I just yawned before answering this question.

When I was in like 11th grade or something a girl asked the teacher that and he said beause it would sound stupid if we went around Nway (yawn backwards... and he made some weird noise when he said it)

( scientific awnser) we yawn when our brain requires oxygen. it is the bodys fastest way of sending it to the brain. I yawn at least once everyother hour.
