Find someone at your school who does good in French (another student) to tutor you.

My big son got through all the math classes his high school offered, so his school sent him to the local college for some classes in his senior year. He was plenty smart, get it? Well, a couple of years later, he took university calculus three times each time dropping before he got a failing grade. How'd he go from math whiz in high school to math failure a few years later? He wasn't any less stupid, but he learned that sometimes you just gotta get help. He joined a study group and sailed through the rest of calculus and diff equations.

Soooo - in your case, I don't think you have the option of getting out before your GPA gets dinged. Try talking with your teacher and see if there's something you can do to make up- maybe an extra credit assignment? And then bite the ego bullet and use that tutor.

Moi je ne suis pas francais, mais je me defends parce que j'aime anglais et des autres langues. Soyez gentile, et a bientot!

you could always study by yourself...there are millions of language programs and books available on the internet and in the book stores.
but the truth is it sounds to me like you don't want to take french. why don't you just take another language class...you just might pass that one.
