I´d tell that Jehovas witness to go away...
If the ETs appearence don´t make me scream like a little girl I think I would try to communicate with it. It would have some purpose to contacting a human like that. Hopefully it is to communicate and not to zapp me with a ray gun. I´d make slow handgestures and speak some words. Show it that I am neither a threat or afraid.

Offer some sort of greeting, whatever seems appropriate, then start pointing at things and speaking their names, try to get a dialogue going. Attempt to communicate, y'know? I mean, what else would I do, take him to our leader? America doesn't have one right now!

It would depend on the circumstances. Is he friendly or is he killing every person in sight with his ray gun? Is he big and ugly and scary looking or cute and small like an Ewok? Are we alone together in the woods at night or is he addressing the U.N general assembly and I am there to meet him?
