Insufficient supply, obviously. See whether you can get the appliances put on a totally dedicated circuit, not one on which one leg is also feeding your computer room.

You are causing a voltage drop with the dryer. It could be a loose connection somewhere. Call an electrician to find out why it started happening. Don't take electrical advise from untrained and unqualified people.

sounds like your causing a BROWN out, like sucking all the elect, out, maybe you need a dedicated circuit just for the computers, or see what circuit the washer is on, that may be the cause, when a motor kicks on there is a power surge, so if the dryer heat kicks on and the washer motor kicks on that will cause a down drop in elect,

William has a good start, if you have a volt/amp meter, I'd check the main power supply, voltage, 120, positive to neutral/ground, 240, positive to positive. check ALL the connections in the main power box as well as in the breaker/fuse box, look for burnt or corroded wires or connections, make sure they are tight, "may be a good idea to turn off the power to tighten connections", if all of your side checks out call your power company and have them check their side of things. if your not sure of yourself on this, PLEASE call the pros. electricity can kill.

Hey Dave;

Don't forget the amp clamp with PEAK HOLD setting. I suspect a failing start capacitor.
