What is your reason for pulling out? Are you one of those people who is afraid of success, so you want to pull out now that we are showing marked signs of progress in securing Iraq so now their government can begin to learn to function without assassins the leaders?
Or are you one of the stubborn quitters who decided to give up when you didn't see an assured victory and now you are afraid to admit you were wrong and that the war can actually be one?

If they won the election and place another peanut person in the presidency, the answer is yes, they will melt like peanut butter, because if they dont, it is political suicide. But seriously, If they win the Presidential Election, I hope they will stay the course even if this war is lie-based, because we have sacrificed a lot of American lives to have a little progress in Iraq. Though, I do not agree with this war, but since we are there now, we no longer have any choice except to stay the course and win it, not doing so is an abomination to the Americans who gave up their lives.

Lawn chairs don't fold over, they break the fabric strips, landing the public on the floor - but they'll claim that the chair still works because the tubing is intact, and that no refunds will be issued.

Why shouldn't the Dems support the war? 99% of the Intel used to justify it was gathered during the Clinton administration. And the majority of the Democratic leadership supported the removal of Saddam as a matter of US National policy.

Nah, they'll drag this out until the election. I wouldn't count on any change until after the primaries at the absolute earliest, but not for a year is my guess. And in the meantime it'll remain as a talking point for all the pols pro and con.

Chi Bro,
At the 11th hour, they will fold like a cheap lawn chair.
Personally I seen it happen twice, when they handed out pink slips to DOD employees on Friday, told to go get their unemployment benefits, but on Monday, they were back to work.

Democrats have a real good example in not telling lies with their leader, Bill Clinton. I understand he is out right now, not having sex with Monica Lewinski again. And what is Hillary doing while Bill is out not having sex with Monica? Hillary is out Not spending campaign money that she didnt collect while her campaign manager stole money from people that she didnt know anything about.

You mean the same war they voted for originally? You mean the same war we are now making significant progress in and actually winning? You mean the same war that is keeping terrorists on the run and away from the U.S? Is this the war to which you refer? Why do you want us to lose? U.S. losing equals votes for Democrats. Nice strategy.

if the Dem's win the presidency, and you think they will pull our troops out of Iraq, you are badly mistaken,.....they are there for the duration, not unlike the troops in Korea,.....
