No. They don't work. If you don't want them in your house you need to kill them and then close up all of the tiny openings that they used to get inside. Otherwise you will be overwhelmed as they keep turning out litters of more and more mice. For every one that you see there are 50 others you haven't seen.

Those ultrasonic things are useless and may harm other creatures ears; irregardless of the sales pitch. Get a cat, preferably save one from the animal control.

Uh, Pied Piper? Not sure what you're supposed to do with the critter after you catch it in a live trap...take it back outside and set it free to come back tomorrow? I personally would have no problem using poison in my house. It's them or me! (Well, not where kids or pets can get to it though. I kinda like having them around!)

you can get traps that don't kill, I think, from the stores. make sure you seal up your house well too, fix all small openings no matter how small (they squeeze into the littlest places) use a lighter or candle to go around the inside perimeter of your basement to look for leaks
