Trying to figure out how to correlate speed in mph with a free fall in feet.

From what heights in feet would a person have to fall to hit the ground at 2 mph, 5 mph and 10 mph?

The formula
Vf^2 = Vo^2 + 2*a*y
where Vf = the final velocity and needs to be in ft/s, Vo = 0, a = 32 ft/s^2 will give you the height, y. (This assumes no air resistance.) You need to convert those mphs to ft/s.

88 ft/s = 60 mph
