What;s my other choice? Moving to France? (Oh wait, I am doing that for a couple of years, but then I will come back and support our president.) I am not going to vote for the Senator though. I think he has good intentions but I disagree strongly with some of his strategies and the pursuit of some of his goals.

The best thing about an Obama victory is the message it would send Washington....that Americans are sick and tired of the Republican and Democratic status quo and want change that is responsive to what Americans really want.
Smaller government, lower taxes, the return of Democracy and Constitutional rights, a strong border, and an exit plan from Iraq.

This is America and the beauty of America is that on January 20th 2009, George W Bush will leave office and shake hands with his successor. Weather that is Obama, Hillary, Mitt or Rudy is up to WE the people. But on that day we will all accept who is elected.
The day we don't the day we stand up and oppose the choice of our fellow citizens the day we will not accept the Will of the majority we have lost what it means to be Americans

Bush has been a horrible president, but that doesn't mean I'm going to be happy with somebody just because they're not as horrible as Bush. That being said, I have a *lot* of issues with Barrack Hussein Obama. Notably, I don't particularly care to subsidize a bunch of socialist programs he's got waiting in the wings, I don't particularly like the fact that high-powered Oprah Winfrey's decided to sponsor him, I'm troubled by the fact that he avoids symbolic yet telling patriotic gestures (e.g., no flag lapel pin, doesn't put his hand over his heart for our national anthem), and I'm very troubled by the fact he was raised Muslim, outside the United States, through his formative years.

Any of the top 3 Dem candidates (Obama, Edwards, or Hillary) would be major upgrades to the president of the past almost 8 years.

The way I see it, everybody's vote matters.
If he is the selected representative, then that is simply the decision made by the voters and everyone has to live with it until next time.
If the winner turns out to be the wrong choice, we all have to live with that too.

Before I looked into the guy, I too was told that Barack was raised muslim. But in fact, if you're curious, he was NOT.
His mother was an athiest, his father bolted on him and didn't raise him (I'm not sure of his religion, but his grandfather was in fact, a muslim).
His mother had him attend a non-denominational private school, a muslim school, and a catholic school. He has made the choice to be a christian.
Yes, he did briefly attend a MUSLIM elementary school, but he was not raised in amulsim household. He was raised in an ATHIEST household.

After Bush, I'd accept Kermit the frog as president. Why the pointy hat at the end of your question? Oh, I'm sooo afraid.

I'd accept him if he was elected, but I wouldn't vote for him. I don't think he has enough relevant experience.
