I don't think Scorpios are mysterious at all. I think they're perfectly easy to figure out and, frankly, very predictable. Of course, being a Scorpio too might help with that...
That said... I think other people find Scorpios mysterious because of the combination of intensity/passion yet being very withdrawn/secretive. The spark of passion makes people wonder *why* we're so secretive. Of course, the answer is never as scandalous as anyone thinks it is...
Note: Scorpios don't like to be "mysterious" (in fact, many scoff at such a shallow concept of "mystery")... Quite the opposite. We actually like people we're close with to be able to read us and intuitively understand ever little thing about us. However, we don't like sharing ourselves/our feelings/our being with the entire world/random people... So we're secretive not to be "mysterious" (once again... *gag*), but just because we genuinely don't want to share ourselves with people we don't care about (ie: we don't care about their opinions), and are insecure doing so with people we DO care about (ie: we care way too much about their opinions). Also, like with all water signs, it's hard for us to articulate how we feel/what we're thinking. And whereas Cancers cry, and Pisces are very fluid, Scorpios like to uphold more dignity and not make themselves into a scene.

Scorpio's themselves do a lot of it. They love to pick you apart while keeping themselves a mystery. In a crowd of people you can always pick a Scorpio. When you ask what everyones sign is the Scorpio will usually say "You can never guess what I am"
You can proudly say you are a Scorpio and they will be shocked. They love to think they are mysterious.

well i am a scorpio so why should they be mysterious. Not all people that are scorpios probaby dn't want to mysterious.

They are secretive, not all out there in the open for all to see and know. They have such self-control and mostly keep to themselves.

probly coz they dont explain their fore actions and show much expression in matters where we think they shouldve, but on the contrary we can see many things happening to our likeliness or dislikeliness and yet they continue to be like that. go figure. or enjoy it.

Nothing. There are plenty of scorpios that are NOT mysterious at all, and plenty of non-scorpios that are. What date you are born has no impact on how mysterious or smart or out-going or analytical or friendly or fun you are.

I think it's because they don't reveal themselves 100%. That's what makes 'em intriguing.
