Space is so unimaginably huge that I don't think we're capable of imagining what interstellar civilizations are like anymore than we can image space itself. Even at the speed of light it takes years to go from one star to another. If there are aliens they must be evolved far beyond what we would consider a civilization like our own. Star war and battlestar galactica are conveniently similar to our own culture/technology level, even though they may seem futuristic to us. This is just speculation, of course, but that's my opinion.

No, their isn't other people like us.
Their are spirit persons that are direct creations of God.
some are really bad and scary, like Satan.
Job 38:7 Says the morning stars or spirit persons cried out in applause when the earth was made.
Then Satan was assigned to take care of the new humans.
His heart got so caught up in what he was doing that he sinned against God. He wanted these people to worship him.
Then other spirit persons joined him and came down to the earth to live with women. Genesis 6: Jude 6
If this earth was not the first place humans were ever put this issue would have came up before.
We are first as humans and new and exciting to the angels.
woman I dare say was first created here. Eve!
God allowed time to show that Satan's way of ruling wouldn't work, it was wrong. This issue would have already been settled long ago on some other planet.
But I do think that one day we will go to other planets.

If there were aliens with an FTL drive like in Battlestar Galactica then they would have used it to visit every planet in the galaxy by now including earth.
There are bound to be more advanced civilizations out there but breaking the lightspeed barrier, if possible, would take enormus resources. Something in the neighborhood of the energy output of the sun during a century. Is our world interesting enough for such an investment? Would they pop out of the blue, flash some lights and then go home?
There may be hundreds, thousands, of technological civilizations in our galaxy but the voids of space might prove an immense barrier keeping us apart. We may here their radiochatter sometime but we may not actually be able to meet them.

I don't know about laser guns and stuff, but I do believe that there may be other living beings out in space somewhere. Nowhere have I ever read that God created ONLY the Earth in our universe. Who can say with certainty that God created only our universe and/or galaxy? We can't go to Mars (or any other planet) without a lot of planning because of our technology. Maybe someday we will be able to make use of a worm-hole and develope warp speed. When that happens, we will be able to go to other planets in a very short time.

I think that if there are aliens out there, they would be so different from us that we would find each other incomprehensible. Interesting to find out, though!

Professor and author Stephen Hawking said in a CNN interview, "We don't know how likely it is for life to develop on a suitable planet. If the probability is very low, the distance between different life forms would be very large. Even if there is a reasonable probability for primitive life to develop, it is only at the last tiny fraction of the history of the Earth that life has developed intelligence. I doubt there is any intelligent life within range of Earth. If there were, why haven't they visited Earth? [And] The history of colonization on Earth, does not encourage me to think that aliens would be friendly. It would be more like the film, Independence Day, than ET."

Yikes!

i honestly think there is something of that sort out there, but minus the noise because sound can't happen without air and there isn't any air in space.

by the way, im guilding a space nation, if anyone wants to join let me know. The station will be called "The Team." if anyone is disrespectful to others, doesn't follow the rules, or tries to take over my command, it's off "The Team" (get it? off "The Team"). (9")9 (>")>

This is an interesting subject to me. It is hard to not believe of aliens with all these sightings and evidence. If the government was trying to hide something there doing a bad job. I think that they are purposely trying to leave us to believe their aliens out their to hide what they are really doing. Do you really think that these witnesses that worked for the government were not paid. The government is trying to hide human technology, not aliens. Aliens are a decoy is what i believe.

I think that there is and we would be extremely selfish to believe that we are the only creatures that can think for themselves in the entire universe. I think that they might be exactly like us, and possibly more advanced. I also have a theory that the government knows all about anything that is happening 'out there' and hiding it.

actually...yes. theres SEXTILLIONS of planets in the universe. thats alot of planets. one of them is bound to be alot more advanced than earth, just like alot of them are bound to be alot more primative, probably without intelligent life at all. i wouldnt say its like many science fiction writers say it is, with wormholes and interstellar travel that takes days instead of years.

i dont think anyone can accurately predict specific types of technology on other planets that could be billions of lightyears away without sounding like some star wars obsessed nut job, but honestly, if its possible im sure it exists somewhere in the universe.

No...First I do not believe in any other intelligent beings because the bible says that god only made one race.I believe that he made the rest to give us a sense that we are not trapped. If there were aliens...it doesn't matter because either they aren't advanced enough...or we aren't advanced enough...and you should give N.A.S.A. credit,I agree it is a long time...but at least it's a start...some people say, what are they doing up there? And they don't understand that our children,or maybe even us,what they are doing up there is the only hope of our race's survival.
