Hi I'm 14 male, 6 feet. I think that i have blood circulation problems. Everytime i go to my doctors we talk to him about the problem and he check my blood pressure and it is fine. When i play sports my face has always become very red. I know lots of people who become red when the do sports. I am not so worried about this. Another problem I have is that while playing sport my hands become amazingly red. When i put pressure on them the become sheer white. I also have a problem that my hands become really blue/purply and my hands are really cooled. I also have resolved to sleep with thing gloves and big woolen sock to go to bed. Because when i woke up in the morning my feet and hands were really cold. I have never had any health problems. I was just wondering if anyone knows why this happens and if it has to do with my blood circulation and what I can do/take to solve it. If anyone knows what kind of procedure or doctor I should see would be helpful also. Thank You

Your blood vessels and/or veins may be very close to your skin. Another possibility is that your lungs are not getting enough oxygen when your exert your body (playing sports). When you press against your skin and it turns white, this is because you are cutting off the blood flow in that area. Upon releasing, blood flows again and the color returns. Even at your young age, it is possible to have semi-clogged blood vessels. Good luck finding the solution to your problem.

Hey man i have a similar problem my hands, feet and nose are always cld.. you probably have bad blood circulation. you should try and take L-Arginine, its an amino acid that can help your blood flow. for the the meantime.. but otherwise take your doctors advice over people on here.

Honestly, that sounds like you are just cold. Like...you were playing sports outside or you left your window open when you slept.

But try doing jumping jacks to get the blow flowing.

it sounds like to me your blood is thin...you wouldn't have blood problems like circulation..it wood be odd.. i have deep vein thrombosis's...now you will know when you have problems...it doesn't have anything to do with your face being red or cold and purple....yours and your friends face get red because your exerting your self.....so take it from someone who does have very bad circulation problems..you should see my legs from the knees down...there purple and splotchy red all the time...and alot of edema...YOUR GOING TO BE FINE....GOOD LUCK MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you have a thyroid problem? I get wicked cold at night. even if the heat is on.

Some reason thyroid disease can play weird games on me.
