although the Japanese relocation camps were wrong, but we were at war with Japan. The difference is the Nazi's murdered 6 million Jews and 5 million ethnic minorities. Here in Houston, there's an excellent Holocaust Museum dedicated to the ones who lost their lives. There was also significant evidence, through coded/encrypted messages from Japanese-Americans to the Japanese fleet prior to Pearl Harbor. Sadly, the vast majority of those Japanese-Americans were wrongfully detained. Many brave ppl. of Japanese decent fought for our country, and risked their lives.
Please don't link relocation camps to the Holocaust.Which I know is not your intention. We are a nation of immigrants(myself included), but we don't murder others based on heritage or religion. The US has many faults, but we are the only ones that stand up to tyranny.

the japanese internment camps did not have death houses and the prisoners weren't starved as badly, however they were treated poorly, housed in horse stalls, forced to work, forced to give up everything. They lost their homes, friends, jobs, businesses, and so much more. Read a book called Desert Exile. It is a first hand account of what a Japanese-American went through.

Only one similarity, it's pretty obvious what that is, and a world of difference. That should be pretty obvious, too.
