Recently I was reflecting on some great Old School Music artists like Johnny Guitar Watson, Three Dog Night, The Jackson Five, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Doors, and other artists who really had a something to say through a defenitive message in their songs.

Today, it seems like a lot of artists are more interested in making money than in producing good music that is heartfelt and makes sense.

I really miss those days of Good Old School music so how do you guys feel about that?

I'm interested in hearing a lot of details, so write as extensively as you feel like and as much as you need in order to convey a complete thought. I'm interested in hearing sincere stories and not just looking to select a Best Answer that isn't explanatory.

You aren't the only one missing that old school. I play my music all the time from the 60's & 70's, and fondly remember when it was a very different time in our lives. Music was fantastic, it was good to dance to and sing along to and actually understand the lyrics. I don't know what you call this garbage out today. I admit, I have tried endlessly to listen to the current radio stations and tried to just tolerate whats on, but sadly, I failed. I just can't stand it!!!It was like 1990 came and the music, for the most part, just sucked. How else can I put it?
