According to the newest Game-informerr they say that bungie will be selling there contract to the highest bidder, because bungie said they will make 3 games for Microsoft and on the third games they could sell there contract to the highest bidder. So that's why halo 2 is only for xbox. That's why i have big hoped for PlayStationn to buy the contract so they can make halo 3 for ps3.

bungie has broken off from microsoft, it's true. so the halo trilogy may show up on the PS3. actually it's very likely. I also heard that they may continue the halo series on the PS3 with the setting for the game taking place far in the future after the events in halo 3.

I really don't care if Halo 3 ever comes for the PS3 even though I have a PS3. If there is a chance that Halo 3 will come to the PS3, then Sony might let Microsoft have one of it's exclusives and I don't want that to happen. I definantly don't want Microsoft to get games like God of War.
But I do hope that Sony does get the highest bid. I want Bungie to make a game for the PS3 that's not a shooter. I want to see what other games Bungie can make instead of a bunch of Halo games.

Even though Bungie is breaking off from Microsoft, the fact is Microsoft owns the games already made for the franchise. Meaning, Halo 3 will never, ever, ever be on the PS3. Future Halo titles may be on other platforms.

No Halo 3 will not be released for playstation as Microsoft still has partial ownership rights. In order for the PS3 to have Halo 3 Microsoft would have to agree to allow it, and we all know that isn't going to happen.

actually no that's not true master chief is in between companies over his rights to who he belongs Microsoft owns him bungie wants him but somewhere in the near future bungie has said they could release other games for other systems there slate is just full of ideas for the 360

you now microsoft is A MONEY HOG... it isn't going to let go of ITS BIGGEST GAME (the only one I care about [xbox sucks without halo]
