I took a "New Choice" Pregnancy test on Sunday and got an extremely faint positive. So I took another one today to see if it would get any darker, but it was the same. Does this mean that my HCG levels are not rising like they should be. I have been reading up on Chemical pregnancies and freaking myself out. Its hard to get excited about my positive. I am 14 DPO today...

If you see any positive line - faint or dark - you can assume you are pregnant. I would make an appointment to have your pregnancy confirmed by a doctor! Good luck!

Ok at 14 dpo, the typical hcg range is 17-119 mIU/ml. The average pregnancy urine test detects anything above 25 mIU/ml. So technically, you don't even have to have enough hcg to even register on a test at this time. I would say that things are fine. If you are just that worried, call and talk to the doctor about it. If you want, wait a week and take another test. It should definitely be darker by then. Try to relax. I know it's hard to do, but some relaxation might do you some good. Always look at the "positive" side of things...lol. Good Luck!

you're pregnant. Yea! fake positives are quite uncommon especially 2. seems such as you had the common attempt for an early tester. First one a splash faint and the 2d greater renowned that's a superb sign that your being pregnant is progressing and the hormones are increasing. regrettably some human beings get era like cramps for the period of being pregnant simply by uterus increasing. Fatigue, time-honored urination, and comfortable breasts are very well-known, straight forward signs and warning signs of being pregnant. good success. do no longer complication ...in spite of the reality that that is totally tricky to no longer.

Ok it doesn't mean anything about your hcg level. hpt only test to their own sensitivity they don't give you a number so new choice measures anything above 25miu/ml of hcg. meaning if you see a line youare pregnant. I would see your doctor for a blood test if youare concerned. But if you look at pics of new choice positives they are all over the web, you can see sometimes they are light and sometimes they are dark

It means that your HCG levels are not as high as they should be right now.
But if ANY test picks up even a faint positive - it means you are pregnant. It means there's more than enough HCG to turn the pregnancy test.
CONGRATS! <3
