I think that Halo 3 is the most overrated game of all time. Halo 3 is only good for online gameplay and I've heard many people say that the main campaign mode can be beat in like 4 or 5 hours. All that hype for a short campaign mode, what a rip off.

The campaign mode is the most important aspect of a game in my opinion, not online play. The story in a game is what keeps people wanting to find out what's going to happen next. It's ironic because nearly all of Sony's best selling games have not even had online gameplay and they still sell millions of games and some have sold even more than Halo 3 with no online gameplay and that says a whole lot.

Four-player online co-op is a lot of fun
Forge mode map editor can create some interesting stuff
Web integration makes sharing new maps and custom modes easy.
Replay function is great
Not to mention the adrenaline-pumping shootouts

If you've played any other halo and liked it, you'll love Halo 3.

IT IS THE BEST GAME IN THE HISTORY OF THE BESTEST VIDEO GAMES EVAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why? Well:
1. It kinda finishes the halo story
2. It is very well-animated in the cutscenes
3. each level is another challenge
4. It's got very good multiplayer maps
5. xbox live
6. The levels are fun to play
7. the music to the game is very good too
8. The enemies reactions to you are very humorous, along with the little comments the marines give
9. Forge, where you can change the maps
10. The theatre application where you can watch your past gameplay, and take screenshots
11. AAAWESOME WEAPONS!
12. lots of achievements

It's a good game, but I seems alot easier to kill people in multiplayer, and it doesn't take as much practice and "skill" the first one did in my opinion. But over all it's a good game.

very good game...awesome! mine justs lags a lot, and i mean a whole lot! so i havent got to play it to its full extent, yet. campaign is very good. you'll def need about 2-3 players to help you pass heroic or legendary. overall A+
