My counseling therapist was involved in a BAD car accident over the weekend. I think it was because the road was slippery & it rained a lot. When I found out she was in an accident, I felt extremely BAD & cried & prayed that she was OK. I felt sick as a dog & couldn't sleep nor eat. I didn't realize I cared about her that much. I know she's a very sweet person & I do care about her, but it was weird because I reacted as if she had died or something. I took the situation very hard. They say she's in a lot of pain. I'm gonna have to send her a Get Well card.

Yes I have felt sad about something bad happening to a mentor. It is completely normal. And a therapist plays a special care taking role in your life so it so natural that you feel this way. I hope she gets well soon.

just be thankful that she's ok. my daughters principal was in a car accident when he struck a wandering moose and died at the scene. it was very hard on the whole community.
what your going through is normal.
i'm sure your councilor would be very grateful to receive a get well card from you and others from your community.
wish her the best from me as well.
take care.

It doesn't matter what role they play in your life, as long as they are somebody really special to you and somebody you care about you're still going to get scared when something bad happens to them.

I'm glad she's okay and let her know that you are glad too. Make her a card or buy her some flowers. Drive safely!

You should go see her when she's well enough. I'm sure she'd appreciate the effort.
