I took a Answer Ovulation Predictor Kit yesterday around 2 pm and it was positive. I was unable to have sex yesterday or this morning so I took another test strip today that was still positive just not as dark as yesterday, so if I have sex tonight is that still gonna be okay to conceive. Also I had sex on the morning of the 25th which was the day before I got the first positive so is it possible to get pregnant from having sex the day before you get a positive opk? I still have a bit of the clear gooey looking cm that is very stretchy.

Your first positive means you'll ovulate within 12-36 hours of it. That means you may not have ovulated until today anyway. The egg lives for 12-24 hours, so tonight would be a good idea, and so would tomorrow! The sex on the 25th is good to, as sperm can live up to 5 days in fertile cervical mucus.

Actually, I used to wait until I had the ewmc to ttc w/ my hubby and for 3 months it didn't work. We then baby danced a day or two before my peak ovulation and I'm now 19 weeks pregnant. Before seems to be better because the sperm can live for up to 7 days and they are already there when you ovulate. Good luck!
