Is anyone working on M-ram? when will it be a welcome part of daily life?

It looked promising for a while, but semiconductor memory, especially flash memory, just got too good and too cheap. The second reference gives an excellent overview of the current state of the technologies. It hasn't been abandoned. It may find application in an environment hostile to semiconductors.
