I just noticed this today when I got home. Smell seems to be coming from engine itself. Bike is a 1994 Honda Magna 750cc.

Haven't noticed any other real problems except lean-surging, which is common for this model.

Check your battery. If the voltage regulator is bad you may be cooking the battery. This would give off sulfur dioxide, witch smells like rotten eggs.

A burned clutch will smell like rotten eggs.
When buying a used bike, remove and smell the dipstick.
If it smells like rotten eggs, it probably needs a clutch.
Remove the dipstick to see if the smell is coming from the crankcase.

supposed to smell like rotten eggs? I'm almost positive
