I’m not a tree hugger, but I’m starting to branch that way. lol
the classic pencil requires wood in order to be manufactured…
the mechanical pencil requires plastics that comes from oil to be manufactured …
Even thought I’m not a tree hugger, the classic pencil, although dated can me manufactured by using recycled material, does being a more efficient and alternative way to go.
I say The Classic Pencil wins

I like the Eagle ones that sharpen easy on my desk. I carry the mechanical ones in my purse so the lead doesn't get broken but the writing is light with the mechanicals so I like regular pencils best.

i like mechanical because, i love my pencil to have fine lines all the time and its so hard when i have to sharpen my pencil every like ten minutes, its a lot easier to push the end of the pencil to get more led. i hate thick lines, and thats a problem for me, only when im drawing is that ok, but even then, i like it to have a bit of a point.

I like regular pencils because with mechanical pencils, the point always breaks off.

to me a mechanical pencil is a regular pencil
