Depends what position they had you in. If you were over their knees across a couch or bed, it's easy enough to lift yourself up. If they were sitting on an upright chair with you dangling over their lap, they may need to help you up. They might just tumble you off on to the floor, but I reckon that's a bit crass.
Whatever position, I feel it's always good to help the girl up and give her a hug, maybe with a whispered endearment - or a reminder that she's due another spanking very soon....

I've heard that some just lay there sobbing until they "get over it".
Some scramble up so they can do that silly little after-spanking dance.
And, most likely just get up whatever way they can ... and then get on with life. -- and glad to get up, even with a sore backside; at least that's over this time.

That usually depends on how you spank somone, somtimes they get up on their own, somtimes they are reassured and comforted a bit and helped up

when I am spanked, she just lets me lay there and than we snuggle. When she is spanked, we do the same, she just lays there and than I usually help her up.
