With inequalities, you can do the same operations as you can do with equalities.

Like adding the same value on both sides

x - 2 > 4
add 2 to each side
x > 6
This is the same inequality.

The one thing you must be careful with is multiplications (and divisions) by negative numbers.

-6y < 24
If you divide both sides by -6, you MUST reverse the sign:
y > -4 (y is bigger than -4)

for numbers 9 to 14, I think you are trying to find a symbol for "greater than or equal"; on these keyboards, we use >=
as in your number 9 (if that is what you tried to write):

y - 4 >= 4
(That is because we cannot write the real sign)

"smaller than or equal"

25 <= d+22
subtract 22 from both sides
3 <= d

3 is smaller than or equal to d
same as
d is greater than or equal to 3 (we do not move stuff around, we just read it backwards).

To remember the sign:

a > b

the little sideways 'v' has its large 'open' side towards a so that means a is larger

I HATE MATH, BUT I'M LEARNING THIS RIGHT NOW... IF IT'S MULTIPLICATION YOU DIVIDE. IF ITS DIVISION YOU MULTIPLY. IF ITS SUBTRACTION YOU ADD. IF ITS ADDITION YOU SUBTRACT.
EXAMPLE
7x less than sign 28 then you divide seven on each side. seven with seven and twenty eight divided by seven which would be four. the seven and seven would cancel out so that's done with then its x less than four... you're just using opposite operations.... After you learn this you'll probably learn to graph inequalities and then shading.... hope this is what you needed help with because math is not my best subject, but we're learning this in class right now and
I actually understand it...
