One of these days, the people are going to wake up and vote the politicians who allow this kind of thing to happen, out of office.
In addition we need judges in the judiciary system that will do right by the people and stop the idiotic ACLU Atheistic, pinko,

O.k I agree with the fact that we need to do something to stop illegal immigration. Illegal immigrants are a drain on tax dollars, they need to come here in the correct fashion. However this story has nothing to do with it. The fact that the driver was an alien is superficial. There is plenty (more than plenty) legal Americans driving drunk.
I also want to point out that if the north American union or spp goes through we will have a lot more problems. Lets look at that and facts instead of things that seem to only stem from racial views.

My uncle was hit head on after taking thanksgiving dinner to a shut in about 20 years ago. The driver was an illegal with no license or insurance, and was drunk. He had hit several parked cars and killed the dog he had in the car in the crash. My uncle was a vegetable until he died 10 years later. My cousin had broken bones in his arm and hand. My aunt had to work in the rest home where he stayed to pay for his care. This needs to stop!

That is the number one issue for me, BORDER SECURITY.
1 in 3 people in jail are illegal immigrants.
But none of these morons running for president want to tackle this issue.

Mike H, get over yourself. Both parties want Amnesty. they both have their various forms of it, and neither would prevent anything the GOP talking points use to argue against the democrat version!
but really, 20 million illegals in our country, it is bound to happen just like it does daily, with people born and raised here.
Either write you congressmen and demand a fence be built, or stuff a sock in it!

Actually this is the result of drunk driving. Nothing else. The man did not drink and drive because he was n illegal..in fact that was a reason not to do it as he would rather not draw attention to himself..he id it because he had no self control and no sense of social responsibility or concern! had he been a lawful tourist he would still have done it, had he been at home he would still have done it. I am not defending illegals but how dare you try to dress up such an evil as drunk-driving as part and parcel of immigration activity instead of giving it its own name?
The more that the press and their readers focus on this man's immigration status, the more they encourage themselves and everyone else to forget that drinking and driving should be at least as greatly reviled and as vigorously sought out and punished...there is a big difference between an illegal immigrant who has killed someone and one who has not but the only difference between a drunk driver who has and one who has not is luck!

I think alcohol is the reason. Illegal immigration is a problem and spinning the facts is a republican trait.
Mike h - bush suggested amnesty/guest worker status way to spin the facts. Too bad it doesnt work anymore. republicans are under great scrutiny when it comes to telling the truth.
