The bank attempted to cash the same check twice and that made me overdrawn. I caught the mistake on the Internet and brought it to their attention. The representative claimed that it was not their mistake but the recipient of the check who had tried to cash it twice. I went to the recipient and they proved that they only cashed it once. The bank said that they would investigate but my account was shutdown and I was unable to pay bills the normal way. Dude that sucks!! it didn't happen to be B of A? I had a similar incident with them about ten years ago..... except I never got my money back.. and I refused to pay the overdraft fee's.. it took seven years for it to drop off my credit (oh and no-one would give me a bank account for those seven years) man I hate banks!!!!! :) I agree they should totally compensate you for your time....

You're right, but unfortunately big businesses don't seem to really care about the little guy. If you had millions in your account you could be sure they would do all you ask, because it's all about money with some of these corporations.
