I even have an emachine with XP (actually final week I erased the HD and positioned on Ubunutu). It gave me an identical issues. What occurred grow to be the plug in the back saved sparking or something. the computing device has been working like rubbish simply by fact the week or so I have been given it. The plug grow to be unfastened and to this present day it nonetheless doesnt slot in proper. i grow to be additionally having the clean exhibit screen venture. My suggestion is to the two (in case you have the money) by way of an incredible iMac or Macbook. I also have a macbook I even have not had one venture when you consider that. in any different case, that's a sensible option to purchase an incredible HP or Dell or maybe Acer. i do no longer believe eMachine products.

Either some system files are corrupt or you have a Virus preventing you from using your system.

Safe: Format and reinstall Windows, you can also backup and then format .

Free Anti-Virus: AVG, Avast.

Even Overheating can shut it down. So do keep the computer in a Air Conditioned room or a room having a fan.

First off we need to know what kind of Programs your running, what kind of system it is and all that but with out all that information My best guess would be a power supply problem, possibly a surge protector problem. at Four years old you'd be well off to take it in to get it repaired and see what they say, or go buy a new computer.

Well your computer is 3-4 years old. . .so it has probably been used pretty well. Also it may have a virus especially if you download many things from sites you dont know. If I were you I would invest in buying a newer model.

GOOD luck!!

Most likely, the power supply is dying. It can be replaced rather easily though. Might cost a few hundred dollars for parts and labor unless you want to perform the surgery on your own.

Probably video card, or overheating.

Update your drivers. If your not sure how, look it up. Most common computer crashes are from unupdated drivers.

If the drivers are up to date and you still have a problem, air clean your computer inside and out of dust, and make sure all the fans are working.

Hi. Usually either overheating or a marginal PSU. Clean the dust out first.

Do you run your computer for long periods of time? If so, it could be overheating. Maybe the plugs aren't in all the way/are loose..
