Yup, provide moist warm places for him to find. When my hatchling escaped, he made it all the way to the other side of the house, crawled into the closet and under a box. Look everywhere every day. They are most active at night, so have a flashlight handy. They can crawl into the tiniest spaces, so don't overlook anywhere. Many people say they find their snake within a few feet of the tank, so check carefully. Good luck and don't give up! It may take weeks to find him, but usually only a few days. Don't worry, even babies can go a long time without eating. When you find him, get a snake proof cage with locking lid. :)

First of all, the snake will NOT crawl back into its aquarium.
Baiting it with food won't usually work either.
Snakes, especially little ones, tend to dehydrate quickly when they are loose in the house, and will therefore seek out a moist hiding place. That is why escaped snakes are often recovered from bathrooms or piles of laundry.
Set a few damp towels in strategic locations along walls. If the snake encounters one, it is likely to stay put for a while.
I also recommend that you buy an actual snake cage. Many dealers are on kingsnake.com.
Aquariums with removable tops aren't escape proof.

What is a pinkie?
To catch the snake is easy. Turn the heat and lights off in the room so that the heated and lighted cage is the only place it would want to go.

try putting his favorite food (if its live) in a bin where the food cant get out. put his heat lamp over it. this might make him come if hes hungry. otherwise look everywhere very carefully. do u have any other pets like a dog or a cat that might eat your cornie? if so i don't know what else u could do but look and close every door in your house to at least keep him in the same place. try the food trick in every room at different days. thats all i got and thats how i found my leopard gecko when he escaped
