That wasn't the case until 2 or 3 weeks ago. She takes just tiny portions and refuses the rest of her 3 daily meals, prefers the water instead of juices or milk (she drinks lots of water). I don't think is teething (she loves unsweetened cheerios). She looks very active, energetic and healthy. Is this normal? Have you experienced something similar? Any tricks to get more food into her stomach (I tried all I know)? Obviously she will start loosing weight. Thanks parents…

Don't worry about it - she really won't starve herself. Offer her healthy foods at snack and meal times and let her eat however much of it she wants to. Don't pressure her to eat more than she wants. She's probably just going through a slower growth period at the moment.

She may very well be teething...one thing is for sure, you never know how a child will eat. in another week or two, you probably won't be able to feed her enough. My kids always ate as much as they needed, and nothing i did would change that (except for candy). If she is showing no obvious signs of distress, I wouldn't worry about .it

don't worry to much they almost all do this...if they are still running around and seem healthy then don't worry. try leaving little snacks like tiny pieces of fruits or vegetables. crackers with cheese. they are to busy exploring to stop to eat. :)

Jerry Seinfields wife has a great cookbook out for fussy toddlers and eating...I use it and love it.
