You know what your looking for ? A small rectangular slot about 5/8" wide x 1/8" deep. Look above your Start button on the tower. Is there a panel there between the button and the Floppy A: ? Press it and it may have two USB Ports behind it.

Depending on how old the computer is, it's usually located on the front or the back of the CPU. If it's in the front, it'll be towards the bottom (sometimes it is hidden under a plastic flap. If it's in the back, it can either be on the bottom or about midway up.

Don't understand what you're talking about.
The flatron is a monitor that uses dvi cabling not usb.
Check this out http://www.pcmag.com/encyclopedia_term/0,2542,t%253DDVI%2526i%253D42144,00.asp
Look toward the end of article for the connector and then find it on your desktop.
If it's not there then you'll need a pci card for it.
