I have to choose a topic for a research paper. It can be any person, war, or event in history. I'm having trouble picking a topic. If you have any ideas, they'd be greatly appreciated. The paper needs to be three to five pages long. I would've put this in another section, but there are lots of people in Polls & Surveys. Also, no stupid answers please.

Do the trail of tears. Many people don't know about it. Its when Cherokee Native Americans were kicked out of thier homelands and told to move. On their way moving they were tortured, raped, abused, and possibly murdered.
