Are you going potty??? This way when you tell them that potty goes in the toilet... they have an idea there is a connection.
EDIT: Babies don't need praise for pooping in their diaper. They are going to do that no matter what you say. Save the praise for potty training. If you praise them for every little thing they do, they start ignoring the praise like it is owed to them or something and it won't work as a training tool in the future.

Odd question. If a baby is in diapers then they are always using them. Do you mean like you are trying potty training?

do you mean a potty? Believe it or not.. the best catch phrase for my daughter was
"you are such a BIG girl... just like Grandma' (I exchanged that with, uncle, grandpa, Barney from tv, Molly from the Big Couch on tv). That made her feel really grown up.
