I have been having menstrual-like cramping for the past 2 days. Theres one on my upper stomach, and then one thats a side cramp.

My period came on the 16th, and i had sex on the 25th, but i dont think its pregnancy. My relationship with this person is a monogamous one, and he doesnt have any STD's.
that night i was the worst of my stomach cramps, but they had been occurring for the week prior to that sunday. i think the workout on my stomach muscles during sex may have caused the pain to elevate.

During the week that this first started, i was drinking a little bit more soda than i usually do. could that have been the cause?

what could these muscle cramps be? Are they really muscle cramps? these are the only 2 things outside of what i regularly do that could have caused whatever this is

any advice or thoughts are thoroughly appreciated.

If the soda that you drank was a diet soda and you have problems with drinking aspartame this could be the cause of the cramping (my mom has a problem with her stomach if she drinks too much diet soda).

I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they say.
