This guy was saying he believed women should sleep on a cot so they would be more less likely to sleep in and would get up earlier to make their husband's breakfast and I thought that was kind of mean. I mean women should make breakfast but they should get a nice bed, you know?

NO WAY! Where in the Bible does it say the woman cooks the breakfast? Marriage is not bondage! This guy is obviously a creep and any woman should stay FAR away from a relationship with him!!! I hope your not the one in the relationship! I'd kick him to the curb and move on! Even if I was desperate, I wouldn't settle for that! A woman should be treated with respect and dignity! My husband treats me with respect! He gets up in the morning with the kids and feeds them breakfast so I can sleep in! AND he fixes his own breakfast! This guy is living in a dream world! Where is he from, Iraq?

If somebody made me sleep on a cot, not only would I never cook for them, but I would throw the cot out the door on my out. Are you serious? Do you live in a third world country?

Think of him like a domestic cow.
We always keep our cash producing animals well fed and happy. If the man is happy and well fed he will willingly get up in the morning and go to work. This is good for the whole family.

Yes she should get a nice bed also. Why should she make breakfast? Only if she is a homemaker and he is going to go to work, then it is her job to make breakfast. If not, why can't he make her breakfast?

I think whoever gets up first should make breakfast...not necessarily the woman.
