Well, how tall are you NOW?
How tall are your grandfathers? Blood relative uncles? Older brothers?
Look at those male kinfolk and you'll get an idea how tall you may get.
Some boys reach their full adult height by about sixteen, others don't stop growing until they are twenty. That is often determined by genes as well as your adult height.
So ask your dad and grandpas how old they were when they reached their adult height. The height of your adult male blood kin and the ages they got their should give you an idea if you still have some growing to do or not.
Sixteen and 5'6"? And you have a very pettite mother?
Maybe you got the "short" genes from your mom. Let's hope you are still growing, then maybe you'll be about 5' 8" .

My parents are the same height as yours. i am expected to get to 5' 5. You will be taller than that if you are a guy whcih I cannot tell from your picture. But you will probably stop growing really soon. Only expect 1/2 to 1 inch more.

look at the mirror . are u still gawky then yes . if not then bad luck . if u r a male and have facial hair u might still grow an inch . at 16 a female has little chances of growth . on the whole say the best case is that u will grow an inch and half .....

I dont think so, most people stop growing at the age of 16. You might grow 1 more inch but i think that is all. This also depends on how tall you are.

It is possible for males to gain height until 21 but most stop around your age.

actually, if you haven't had a huge change in height lately, you probably do have a few more inches coming your way. just remember that we all change at different times, and boys tend to mature later than girls do. however, if you're already 6' 9", I wouldn't really count on that late growth spurt. =]

Guys keep bone growth growing till age 21 (longer than girls), then it stops. So keep up with getting calcium so your body has the materials it needs to make bone. Milk, cheese, get good nutrition too.

Stand with your arms straight out and have someone measure you from finger tip to finger tip. If it equals the same in inches as you are tall, you're done growing.
