It's immoral and completely wrong in my opinion and i just wanted to see why other people thought it was right even (though it's baby murdering), or wrong.

As a second thought before you answer you should remember: even if the woman got raped or whatever then it still isn't the baby's fault and she should stilll have it. ( At least, that's my opinion )

Also....nobody can say that they baby isn't alive becuase if it's growing then it's alive plus babies play, fight, etc.. in the womb, so that should be enough proof right there.

And if the girl got raped, then she doesn't have to live with the baby, she could just give it up for adoption and what about the father? It's just as much the father's baby as it is the mother's so why should only the mom get a say in what happens?

I respect your opinion on it so respect mine.

Hello abortion is legal. I am for abortion for many different reasons and even though i haven't had one if i did want one then i would not care what people like you think/thought.

I would have an abortion for the following reasons:
1)If i were raped
2)If the fetus had something horribly wrong with it and would only suffer a horrible life.
3)If my life were in danger and i was told i would die if i followed through with the pregnancy then i would abort because i would not want to leave my son motherless.
4)If i did not or could not handle another kid.

It is not your decision on why people have abortions. If you seem to think it is murder then how can you support the troops that kill people everyday? Abortion is a medical procedure not shooting someone in the head like the troops do.
It comes down to this:
My Body
My Sexuality
My Uterus
My Vagina
My Morals
My Life
My Choice
Not Yours

If it was a baby then they would not call it a fetus. A fetus is not a living, breathing human being until it is born and breathing on it's own.

Okay if the lady got raped and she does not want to keep the child because every time she sees him she is going to remember how he got in this world and about keep it and giving it up for adoption she probably don't want to be carrying a baby she does not want for 9 month i understand its not the baby's fault but she didn't choose to get raped and also you said if she got raped that the father has a saying if she should keep the baby or or not come on lets be serious sometime your rapist is a stranger you probably wont ever seem him again. I totally against abortion believe when i tell you that but when it comes down to rape nobody could say anything to the woman who choose to have an abortion because they are the one who got raped they are the ones going thru the emotional roller coaster The way I see if you havent went thru the experience then you cant say anything

I am a very down to earth person. I beleive that everyone is entitled to thier opinion on anything and everything. I respect people's opinions no matter if I agree or not. My beleif on abortion is, if that is a choice a woman wants to make, then she needs to get it taken care of quickly! I DO NOT and repeat DO NOT beleive in aborting after 12 wks. I beleive that you are well aware of your pregnancy by then and if you are still carrying it then, then you are gonna carry for the rest of the pregnancy. I really feel that it should be illegal in every state after 12 wks. A girl got pregnant by my brother when she was 14 and decided to wait unitl she was 20 wks to tell her mother(after I finally threatened to tell her if she did not). Her mother gave her the choice on what she wanted to do and she chose to abort. I will never forgive her for that!!!!! That was my neice or nephew that was only a couple weeks away from being able to live outside the womb! But as I said before, 12 weeks or earlier it's the woman's choice. There are a lot of situations out there to where if a woman could not make the decision to abort, then they would be bringing unwanted children into a world to where god knows what would happen to them. Abused. Abandoned. You name it. I know some people say they could just give it up for adoption, but that is easier said then done. I know some people are gonna say they should not have gotten pregnant in the first place, but accidents happen. You should have choices. Hope this helps!

Here is my opinion. The child is not yet alive. Yes, it is growing. However, it can not sustain itself outside of the womb. If youtook it out and placed it in a stable environment it would die. Also, it is the womans body. Remember it is my opinioin that the fetus does not qualify as living. Therefore if the woman does not want to grow larger, carry this fetus inside here, experience incredible pain giving birth, and risking here health/life than she shouldn't have to. On rape: the girl/woman shouldn't have to go throughg another traumatic experience because a bastatrd raped her. Even if she gives it up for adoption her life will still be affected by being pregnant and giving birth. And, in my opinion if you want to believe the child is alive: how comprehensive of the world would it be? The brain isn't fully developed. A chicken will most likely be a "higher" life form than it. That is my opinioin.

ok you can look at this in generally two ways, philosophically or the way an average person would look at it.

philosophically, abortion is completely natural and a part of life. you see, humans have a abnormally good nature compared to that of other living things. another reason for this "good nature", is because are minds contain much more intellectual and advanced concepts of thought than other living beings. for example, an animal like a tiger, thinks of reproducing as making sure their species do not become extinct. but we the humans, have a concept of thinking emotionally, such as killing are unborn young is wrong. different people view this as either a weakness or a strengh. all of us are attracted to how cute little tiny baby's are, so we believe that ending the life of an unborn baby, or fetus is no differnt than murder. in another part of this concept, abortion is techniqually a natural right. its like telling a woman, whether you like it or not, your going to have your baby.

the normal way a person would look at it is very straight forward and obvious. any person would think its cruel, and murdering somone who hasn't even been finished being created. as if your were to kill a tiny little baby just because of somones sexual irresponsabillity. but realy, i think other people should not be concerned about other women having their baby or not

it is up to the girl and guy. Have any of you personaly been through on proably not. I had one and i would do it again in a heartbeat it was the best intrest for me and the embero not a baby it is and was an embero. I'm not a murder, I am a life saver. That fetus would not have been love or wanted. And were this condom stuff they brake accidents happen that is why they are called accidents.
Abortions are alot to go threw and you pepole calling a girl a muder for should be ashamed for doing because guess what the end of the day the girl is a live and she has to deal with every day, not you.

well i think that abortion is justified in some situations, if a women is raped and impregnated she should be able to get an abortion, if the mother doesnt have enough resources to raise the child, or if the mother is underaged, or if the mother has mirror syndrome (thats when the fetus acts as a parasite and kills the mother in turn killing it) its a situational thing, not to mention some religious doctrines which are the basis for objection say that you are alive from your first breath, implying that before that you arent alive, also making it illegal wont stop if from happening the only difference is that it wont be as safe and it will be done with a coat hanger in a back alley. if you dont want one dont get one, also with a war going on and genocides still occuring this should be a small worry

In my opinion, abortion is an issue that is between a woman, her God, her doctor. I don't approve of late term abortions and I do not like abortion on demand, but I sure wouldn't force a 12 year old to have her father's or other relative's child and I wouldn't force a woman who was raped to have a baby.

I believe in contraception. I believe in the Morning After Pill, which can prevent pregnancy after a rape. Unfortunately, some people don't even believe in preventing pregnancy, except with the rhythm system, which is not reliable at all. This lowers women to the status of brood mares, with no purpose other than to breed.

Republicans today are against abortion, but they don't want to help feed the babies. Do they want a world filled with hungry children? We all know that the Third World is filled with people so poor that children go hungry. They always suggest adoption, but our foster program has thousands and thousands of children that no one ever adopts.

Rich women will always have abortions. They fly to Europe where the beliefs are different. Any ban on abortion will hit the poor. So, then, we could fill the ramshackle ghettos of our rundown cities with even more kids to play on the sidewalk, join gangs, and grow up to spend their lives in jail.

Therefore, if we ban abortion, we must work to create programs for underprivileged children, food programs, educational programs, programs aimed to lighten the burden of poverty. Otherwise, we will have a population of 400 or 500 million people, with starving children running the streets and scrambling for food as they do in India and other poor countries.

I am totally against abortion.

I live in South Dakota and we had an opportunity here in SD last year to make abortions illegal here in the state. Unfortunately it was defeated in in a vote last Nov.

I view abortion as the murder of innocent babies who have no voice for themselves.

And anyone who tries to tell me that the baby isn't alive till birth, my answer to you is BULL!!!!

I am the father of 3 children, and I remember being at the Dr. appointments. with my wife and hearing the sonograms and hearing my children's heartbeats while in the womb. I've seen the ultrasounds and seen them moving inside the womb, and seen the heart beat.

I think abortion is nothing more than legalized murder.

I love the protesters who say my right and my choice and my right to freedom of speech. HMMMM lets think about this. It is also there right to USE BIRTH CONTROL TWO FORMS AT LEAST! A fetus may not be a living breathing thing as one person called it. But its called MORALS AND VALUES... What if your mom aborted you simply cause you did not fit into her plans? I think in incest, rape, maybe even in situations to where you could die. Its a tough call but do it within the first month or two fine. But someone who does not use protection and gets pregnant and decides dang i should have been more responsible but i want to continue to party and lead the life i am and no baby fits in.. I think ill kill my unborn child. THAT IS SICK! Give me a thumbs down i do not care. ABORTION IS NOT A FORM OF BIRTH CONTROL! IT IS A SECONDARY THING FOR WHEN BIRTH CONTROL FAILS YOU. That is what it is intended for. I think the morning after pill is way to accessible! Also remember that abortion later when you want to get pregnant and have problems with fertility and wonder why! I know a girl between the ages of 14-17 had 3 abortions and now she is having lots of problems conceiving. She is happily married and 24 years old and has tried for years. The abortions can and will screw up your lady parts inside. So hmm is it really worth it? I THINK NOT!

MY BODY MY CHOICE FREEDOM OF SPEECH? What about the life INSIDE OF YOU! Thats right it has a beating heart THERE FOR ITS MURDER!

i agree that it's murder. i guess there is no right or wrong answer. people just argue that women have a right to their bodies, whatever...but you honestly have to see that the baby is a person too, and would you kill it just because you had sex in unfortunate circumstances. definitely immoral. there's this site called abort73.com or something and it has a lot of really good arguments against it. i would never do it, and my aunt argues that the government has no right to interfere with people's rights, but the rights of another person are in play...it's tough. and a movie with penelope cruz, volver, has her daughter being her sister as well i think, and yet she still loves her and makes it work. so i have so much respect for those young mothers with babies because yeah they made a bad decision maybe in having sex but they made a good one in keeping their baby. i hate that it's even an option to "get rid" of your baby if it's not convenient for you. everyone has a right to life! and a woman who justifies her abortion by saying she loved her baby so much that she didn't want it to live in poverty or with a stigma or whatever...

how many people do you know, born of moms who were in unfortunate situations, who wish that their mother would have had an abortion?
