My precious Mother died with pancreatic cancer 22 yrs. ago. It was awful what all she endured in the 8 mos. after her diagnosis. We where so close & I so wanted to save her.
We never know what is in store for us or our loved ones. One thing for sure, none of us are leaving this world alive. My soul will simply leave my body & that body will be burried , but I will not be there. Mother's favorite song "One Day at a Time" is how I try to live, my mind centered on Christ,& being like him.

I just lost my Brother last month to throat cancer he was 47. Didn't even know he was sick with cancer until July. Worse of all he had been to the ER 6 times in a year complaining of a sore throat.

My cousin died of leukemia in 2005.
Its hurts so much. I loved her, and it is still shocking if you knew the circumstances. My family is still recovering of the slap it gave us, it really was the WORST thing that has ever happend to my family..
It hurts so much.
My grandfather who I didnt get to meet, was in spain (where im from) with my dad and aunt, uncles and grandmother and he learned he had stomach cancer and died weeks later. Even though he didnt want to, he left them and left my oldest uncle who was only 14 to take care of my dad, aunt and uncle since my grandmother wasent allowed to work back in those days (60's) in an old-fashoned country. He had to get in the cannon that was my grandfathers, and worked then when my father became 20 gave it to him and hes had it ever since. (I told you my dad/family was a human cannonball one right? I dont remember)
I really feel with every bit of my heart for everyone who has lost a loved one, cancer or no cancer. It hurts.
This is my cousin caylee, a tragic story really.

Three of my closest friends were diagnosed with breast cancer, all within the past 4 years. All are in remission thank goodness.
Very frightening when it hits so close to home.

Two of my cousins died this year of breast cancer, one was 39 and the other one 42... both still so young, leaving behind their husbands and children.
The last one was just three weeks ago.
