Well sort of. I now use my 4-year degree in my job, but for a while I was going nowhere. My Master's degree (in a different area of study) allowed me to command the job I currently have where I get to use all my skills and make more money. I wouldn't settle for going nowhere and neither should you!

I got my BA in Accounting, but am currently a software engineer. Not a dead-end job, but not what I spent 4 years of my life studying for.

I have a Master's degree with a dead end job and my roomate has a Master's degree with no job, soon to get a dead end job.

My BS is in Video Production. I worked in the field for a few years, then quit and went into restaurant management. Now I have a Masters in Education; I like this field a lot better!

my doctors wife has her MASTERS, the college she was working at made cuts.. and she was one of them. Now she is working 2 jobs, As a waitress and a sales clerk at J.C. Penneys!!
She is called "over qualified"
sad.
