Since I didn't know Tarzan had a last name, I've found the answers interesting!

John Clayton, Lord Greystoke/Earl of Greystoke was his last name. Tarzan means white skin - and he had no last name in the jungle per se, unless you count King of the Apes after he ousted the then King.
