He visited with Bush at the White House AND didn't have a car waiting to take him wherever, SO there he was on the street walking for several blocks and continually saying "no comment" to the hordes of reporters following him - what's the point of meeting with the President then walking the street freely allowing press to surround him... and not giving them any quotable statements.
