Well,
Ouijas are VERY BAD. If i were you, i WOULD NOT LISTEN TO AN 11 YEAR OLD. Buy her something else, you might be known as the bad influence towards children because you buy them such a "so-called toy".
Do whatever you want, but just be sure and be aware of the consequences you might bring to that 11 year old.
Good luck & Merry Early Christmas!

If you or the family are religious or believe in ghost than don't because they will think it is evil. The board is thought to be a portale to the "other realm" and bad things could happen if you ask the wrong question or don't say goodbye. Some think you can be possessed by an evil spirit or haunted. If you don't believe in that stuff than go right ahead. I've done it and it is fun. Nothing happened, but it freaked me out so I won't go near one again.

No way! A Ouija Board is NOT an acceptable gift for an 11 year old, although, I dont think that is an acceptable gift for anybody.

i am 11 years old , and personally love the whole paranormal thing.lol.But I must tell you,DO NOT GET HER ONE! My friend played with one and she had become posessed by a devil/spirit! She had an exorcis, shes ok now but...DO NOT GET Her ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ouija boards bring in evil spirits into the home, read about ouija board stories and trust me...you won't want to get her one after you read about them.

No way...
those things may just be games, but they have some evil origins and I wouldn't give an 11 year old something that creepy. Especially not with her parent's permission. Plus, if the family is Christian it's even worse...Christians are strictly anti-Ouija....like me.
God bless!

Ask her parents if it's OK first. Ouija boards are not any more evil than anything, it's the cultural messages that they portray which cause the fear that people have about these games. As long as her parents give the OK, go ahead and get her what she wants.

Sure. They'll have fun and learn for themselves that the Ouija Board is a toy and eventually that the occult is just another con job. Any adult that thinks there are 'DARK FORCES' in a mass marketed piece of wood is 'a dolt' The CHRISTIAN FAITH WHAT???????????????????????????????? Jessi?

I would ask her parents first because of the stigma that a Ouija board carries, I had one as a kid and nothing bad ever happened to me because of the Game. Its just a GAME and its kinda fun to freak out your friends.

NO! Absolutely do NOT get this for her for Christmas. Introduced as a fun party game, they are dangerous. The messages they spell out are a way for demonic forces to enter your home and take advantage of you. Unless you want to end up on the show "The Haunting", i suggest you stay clear of this.

I would not recommend it. I tried it once. After finishing it - literally two minutes later I got report my parents were in a car accident. Thank God it was not fatal - but the car and their nerves got banged up. I never looked at a ouija board again after that.
