Last Christmas, my grandma bought me a letterman jacket, and I absolutely adore it.

However, a few weeks into the new year it started smelling really rank.
Like skunk.
My mom says it smells like cheap weed (and I'll take her word for it).

Because of this, I hardly wear the jacket, and feel bad for somewhat wasting my grandma's hard-earned money. I really want to wear it, but it just smells too badly!

Why does it smell, and how can I fix it?
Some of my friends' jackets smell the same, and we'd all really appreciate any answers.

Dave Letterman must have worn it before he sold it to Grandma, and he smokes cheap weed and uses euDe' Skunk aftershave.

I couldn't honestly tell you the smell, because I don't know what you do day-to-day. I just suggest taking it to the dry cleaners (as it is probably a really nice jacket). Tell them to try and get rid of the smell without it smelling like something else (like a cover up). Good Luck by the way.
