yea, if you have an Allen head screw underneath the disposer, get the wrench to turn it loose. it's a special Allen key for disposers. I forget the size.
if you do not have an Allen head screw in the center underneath, replace the disposer.

At the bottom of your garbage disposer is a slot for a allen type of wrentch. Take that and turn it with this first. Make sure you remove the wrentch first then restart. Be sure that you have unpluged the disposer before starting to do any work on it. replug and turn it on. If that buzzz sound has gone away and it wont even turn on (after pluging it back in of course) there is a small button on the bottm of the disposer that needs reset. General they are red. Best of luck

WITH THE SWITCH TURNED OFF, reach inside & see if you can feel any debris. If so, remove it. Do all of the rotors turn freely? If not, feel under them for debris & remove it. Can you, from inside, turn the entire base? If not, remove your hand, then take the hex (allen) wrench taped to the side of your unit (or one from your tool box), insert the end into the hex hole in the center of the bottom of your disposal unit (under the sink), and turn it back & forth to dislodge the debris. Remove the hex wrench, verify nothing else is in the disposal, & turn it on again. No luck? Call the super.
