Your name isn't creepy.
When you are old enough change your first name if you still feel the same.
For now if you feel you must give people a nick name. Maybe Jed?

I would just tell them that with your ancestory that you are rich and get royalties on each book that was ever written on pinocchio... You may as well lie. lol Take up a wood working hobby and forget what other people say.
I knew a surgeon who's name was Dr. Cutright.
I knew a girl whose name was Robin Hatch.
I knew a guy named Rob Banks.... and yes, he worked at a bank! They made him put Robert on his desk name plate. lol... so what's in a name anyway???
