We have an used refrigerator/freezer. It has been working fine for us, until recently. The freezer doesn't seem to be reaching 0, and I have it turned all the way down to the coolest setting. Popsicles and ice cream won't stay frozen, but the meat that is already in there is still frozen, as well as the ice cubes. Is this something that can be fixed, or should I just start looking for a new one?

The items that aren't freezing are located in the back of the freezer. I've made sure that the area in the back where the cold comes from is not blocked. The door is closed tightly. I've also noticed that there is a lot of moisture that comes from the freezer and deposits on top of the fridge door, causing mold.

If your setting is already at the lowest and it's still cooling, but not enough, then you most likely have a refrigerant leak.

Probably frost build-up around the cooling coils. If it doesn't have a defrost mode, do this. Unplug it and empty the freezer. Carefully remove the screws holding on the panel at the back of the freezer (inside) and remove the panel. BE VERY CAREFUL! the coils are surrounded by VERY SHARP metal blades. If there is a lot of ice around the coils, use a hair dryer to melt it. Do NOT point hot air at the coils too long. If there is no ice, re-assemble and call a repair person, as it's probably a bad thermostat or other such component.

Now wait a minuet, frozen is frozen! You have something else going on here. Are the Popsicles and ice cream near the front? Then maybe the kids aren't getting the door closed tight. If the freezer quit working and everything was getting mushy, then I would say it is time for a new one. You need to investigate each hour for about a week to see what is going on.

You may be blocking the venting system. This is the area that the cold air gets in. Generaly in the back of the freezer. Move any thing that is blocking this. Turn the freezer down to its normal setting. You should be good to go. freezing is not at zero.
