Looks like America is recognizing success in Iraq. What is this going to do to Democrats come election time?

P.S. Check out the title of the article. Just another example of liberal bias. An entire article discussing the success of the military, but the headline is about Americans wanting us out of Iraq. Pretty funny.

Sorry, g. The entire article is about the American's improved perception about our success in Iraq, but the title is about us wanting out. Does that make you feel better about the bias?

AND Bush announced troops in Iraq will be cut down to 50,000 by this time next year after their OWN running democracy takes charge, so the whiny Dem's can not take credit for bringing home the troops they never really supported.

No, the article listed below could be bad news for you and the government's theory that their is success in Iraq.

Since 2003 more than 4 million Iraqi's have fled the country. Don't you get it? Less people means less civilian casualites. The majority of Iraq's citizens aren't even living in the country! What kind of chaos will occur when and if they all move back? What kind of country/democracy will there be with none of its citizens?

That mess lasted so long a little victory now will make very little difference. When are they going to come home? When are the Iraqis going to give us those parades with the rose petals at our feet? When are the Suni, Shia, and Kurds going to work harmoniously to create the grand democracy we were promised. When will there be electricity all day long? When will the sewers work? When will there be running water again as before? Yes, we have done alot over there, so now it is time to bring our people home and tell the Iraqis we got rid of that dictator now it is up to you. Finally the mission is really accomplished and our troops should be home for Christmas. If we can bring every one of our people home by Christmas 2007 I will personally lead the parade riding backwards on a donkey.

I doubt it. The American people still want troops out. And all of the other things going on right now, the Republicans time is over.

Success in Iraq only shows the competence of the military. So no, it's not bad news.

For you warmongers that just don't get it:

Americans want our troops out of Iraq regardless of the success or failure of the effort because U.S. national security is not at risk either way.

the poll says that pretty much the SAME AMOUNT OF PEOPLE WANT TO PULL OUT THAT WANTED TO BEFORE...

that's by far more important that how people feel about the war... in fact, it's kind of sad that people think it's going better, but still want to pull out...

it's not talking about the success of the military, but people's perceptions of it... why is it that everyone that cries about bias stories seems to have trouble reading?

Bad news? I don't see how. Military success is fine. Let's see how they deal with the rest.
