I know this is a dumb question. I was just wondering because you can kind of see his personal parts in the bath tub pictures but he is so cute. Is it inappropriate? What is your opinion?

Makes sense about pedophiles. I'll just post ones where he is covered in bubbles. Those are really cute too!

I'm like you - all I see is the cuteness but from my own personal experience I wouldn't do it. I had a picture of my daughter on myspace at about 8 months in a little pink bikini. Nothing was showing. Some little high school idiot said he wanted to rape my daughter. I was furious. I reported him and had him blocked from my account but I don't want to hear things like that. There are too many jerks and pedophiles out there. Keep those pictures in your home to show your friends and loved ones who will appreciate them.

It is definitely inappropriate. You have no control over who is looking at those pictures. I know it is sick, but someone will get off on those pictures. Don't subject your child to this and don't allow a predator to achieve that.
You or I may not think anything suggestive about those pictures. They're just cute, right? But someone with a sick mind will use those pictures for inappropriate reasons.

I agree with Judas Rabbit lol's comment. Save any pictures of your children for family and friends. Don't post on-line. There are sick people out there.

I put pictures of my son in the tub on myspace, most people didn't care. I mean I didn't. He's a baby for gosh sakes, but then one of my friends told me they were inappropriate. I think it's personal prfrence. If your worried make your profile private. But then again, there are some perverts. I think it depends on which sites your on.

No sweety, it really isn't inappropriate.. you should be able to share the joy of your child with everyone... To eliminate the fear of perverts (who obviously need GOD in their lives)seeing his goodies, try possibly putting your myspace photos on private where only your friends can see.... and other than that, just re-take pics that are a little more user friendly (i guess)

it's not inappropriate, but you might consider marking the photos private. that way, they won't get into the hands of strangers, but all your friends and family can gush over his cuteness. i'm not sure how to do this on shutterfly, but on myspace you can make the album private and on flickr you can adjust the privacy settings for individual photos.
good luck with your little one!

In my opinion, I don't think it's appropriate. Just think what your son would say when he's a teenager. :) Plus you wouldn't want some pervert looking at your son that way.

But bathtub shots can be so cute. Could you crop it or photo edit it in such a way that his privates don't show?

He's your son, but I personally wouldn't becuz there are alot of pervs circling the web. I would put pictures of my kids but not ones with them in the tub.

Of course. I know people say things about perverts and such, but would a pervert target a baby, that is constantly looked after and with the mother? What would a pervert do with a picture of a naked baby? Search google for "baby bath" and you will find plenty of pictures of naked babies in the bath!

My opinion...I think it is ok because babys are cute.....

but then again there are perverts out there that may take that picture differently.

I'm old skool and my parents used to do the same thing for me. ...but stupid people mess up good things....

its pretty much up to you and your judgement...but personally i dont see nothing wrong with it.
